Description
Hymn Collection IV contains EIGHT hymn tune arrangements for beginning three octaves choirs. The tunes in this collection were chosen based on their appropriateness for the season of Lent. Although the arrangements are conceived for handbells, they can readily be played by handchimes, probably to quite good affect. Each piece is 2-3 minutes in length yet they each feel complete and are appropriate length for most worship settings. Several of the titles will be available separately.
In Hymn Collection IV, there is not one single optional note; play all the notes you see. The music is uncluttered with brackets [ ], braces { }, parenthesis ( ), etc.. I have also kept the dynamic level changes to a minimum. If your choir can get soft , medium and loud right, then you are on your way to getting all the gradations in the middle right also.
Be aware that the preview score is missing one page from each arrangement. When you click "Listen to this Title" you will hear one arrangement -- "My Faith Looks up to Thee".
Azalea Circle Hymn Collections are the best bargain in the handbell world. After you have purchased and downloaded your sheet music (usually within minutes of your purchase), you can make copies as you need them for your organization (year after year). You can literally purchase new sheet music for your bell choir and start practicing it the same day.
